Disneyland

Over a year ago we went to Disneyland, and ever since Brinley has been asking to go back. Well we finally made it. The weather was beautiful and we had a great time... but might be the last time for a while!

Carousel ride #1, Brinley made probably 4 or 5 trips to the carousel.

I remember this ride from when I was little, and it was fun to get to see Brinley go on it with Ryan and Uncle Mark.

Casie, Brinley and Derek. It was so much fun having them here!

This is the first time Brinley has actually posed with a Disney character! Yay! She normally gets too shy, but I was so glad she finally talk to her... especially after waiting 30 minutes!

Yay for Cars! Casen had been so good all day and this was definitely one of the highlights for him... even though all he could do was stand bye them... and give hugs ofcourse :)

Casen saying "wahoo" in one of the "Bug's Life" rides.

Go Brinley!

Mark, Landon, and Clarissa met us there. It was so fun getting to see them! Clarissa is due within a week of me and we are both having baby girls - I am so excited!

Don't leave parade!

Giving cousin Landon a hug :)

One last carousel ride!

Beach Day!

The kids have had so much fun at the beach in the past, that we wanted to sneak in one last trip before summer ended... well apparently it was too late! The water was freezing and so was the air! The kids still had fun, but we only lasted about 1.5 hrs.

All Casen wanted to do was stomp on the sand castles.

Brinley was pretty excited about her mermaid tail :)

Bye-bye Beach! Time for a much warmer pool!

We met the Jolley's at a Marriott pool and the kids had so much fun! They played "catch" for quite some time :)

Casie, Brinley and Derek
Two kids at once... seriously they loved it!
Casen came out of one of the jumps with this awesome hair :)

Casen and Brooklyn, they had a lot of fun climbing around the dinner table.

We met our friends the Forges at BJ's for dinner. They were in Mississippi with us during pilot training and we love getting to see them when we make it to Cali. Their girls are adorable and they are a great family!

P-P-Party!

Ryan was working nights and the kids and I were getting kind bored, so we decided to have a P-P-Party! We had ate Pepperoni Pizza, and Played on the Playset, then it was time for a Princess movie with Popsicles, Popcorn, and Pillows.

Pepperoni Pizza!

Playing on the Playset!

Slide train!

Brinley, Kinley, Casen, Ava, and Kylie... little Kylie didn't want to be in the train.

Pillows and Princess movie time!

Apparently these two kiddos were too busy playing to eat during the party, so it was pizza time when everyone left.

It's a GIRL!!!

Well Brinley's dream came true... she is going to have a baby sister! Yay! Ever since we told Brinley that I was pregnant she has been telling everyone that I am having a girl. Ryan tried to explain to her that it might not be a girl.

Ryan - "Brinley, just so you know sweetie, it could be a boy."
Brinley - "Ya know Dad... it could be a girl!"

Needless to say, Brinley was pretty excited when she found out that it was a girl! She has made sure to tell everyone that she was right, and Dad was wrong. We are all really excited!

Brinley's "happy to be having a baby sister" face
The ultra sound... the doctor said she is only about 90% sure... but we are pretty sure it is a girl :)

First day of Preschool!

Brinley has gone to Mrs. Stacey's summer school before, but this was her first day of REAL preschool! She was a little nervous, but SO excited when her friends Isiah and McKinley gave her warm welcoming hugs!

Trying NOT to smile :)

Finally giving in!

And now going crazy!

Finally her cute simple smile!

First day of homework - lower case letters. Good job Brinley Boo!

Sand Hallow with the Wilburs

The Friday before Labor Day we headed up to St. George and met our friends the Wilburs there. We took the kids to Sand Hallow and had a great time! Thanks for a fun trip!

Brinley's shell collection... there was definitely something living inside of them!

I love their shallow beaches, the kids can walk out forever. Here the kids are playing out where the boat was beached.

Casen loving every second on the tube. Poor kid always has to get off sooner then he wants too!

Brinley had a lot of fun watching Casen!
Brinley just loves tubing! It is so fun to see her go crazy out there!

Raquel and I talked the boys into going together. Ryan and Eric pretended like they didn't have fun, but we all know they did :)

I think this was Dresden's first tube ride. Him and Raquel looked pretty cute just cruisin' put there!
All worn out!
