The Judy's come to visit!

In the 3.5 years that we have lived in Vegas my parents have never been to my house at the same time! Both have visited for different reasons, but just never together since we have lived in this house. So I schemed a scheme and bought them tickets to the Beatles LOVE show in Vegas :) They ended up coming the middle of March and we were so glad to have them and my siblings!

Brinley Boo loves her grandpa!

Just a couple hours after they arrived we headed to the show! Brett, Madeline and Brooklyn stayed home with Brinley, Casen, and Marlee while Ryan and I went out with my parents. We grabbed a quick dinner at Sammy's Woodfire Pizza and then headed to the show. It was so fun to get to go out just the 4 of us! Don't know the last time that happened, but I'm already excited for next time!

The show was great! I have seen quite a few shows in Vegas and I was really impressed with this one. And the music was great too!

We had a big breakfast the next morning and Dad sported his Beatles T-Shirt :)

My girls and my Dad :)

There happen to be a Thunderbirds air show one of the days they were here. It was a "private-ish" show for military family only out at Creech AFB. It was the perfect activity and we all had so much fun! Brett especially enjoyed it!

Brett and Casen

Brinley and Madeline

Dad with Brin and Case

Probably Brinley's favorite part of the day :) haha

Casen sure had fun!

My family got autographs of the pilots after, it was kinda neat being in a smaller setting for the show!

Ryan came and met up with us for his lunch break, Casen was happy as always to see his "best Dad"

My Brinley Boo and I. Marlee stayed at a friends house and napped the whole time we were gone, I think everyone was happier that way, although I missed that cute girl :)

Afterwards Ryan took us over to where he instructs in the simulators for UAV's. Casen had fun seeing where Daddy works :)

Dad, Brinley, Brett, and Casen in the pilot and "sensor" (camera operator) seats

The we grabbed authentic mexican food at the "taco truck". It has become a favorite among friends so I had to introduce my Dad to the best $1 tacos money can buy

Poor Marlee was sick with ear infections and wasn't exactly all smiles while everyone was there, but she enjoyed getting to play with Mom and Mom was so sweet and patient with her.

Marlee broke out in a rash after 2 days of being on amoxacillin... this is Day 1

And this is what it looked like on Day 2

And she still managed to pull off this happy face :)

The weather was beautiful so we grilled outside, it was so nice!

That night the kids introduced Grandpa and Brett to the bounce house. They sure had fun playing with them!

After the kids wen to bed we made home-made pizookies and enjoyed chatting with out all the typical noise :)

These two girls did not was to say good bye!

Picnic at Mnt. Charleston

We have been loving the nice weather and decided to go up to Mount Charleston the beginning of December since Ryan had the day off. Before we knew it it turned into a party! It was fun having so many friends join us! We had a yummy potluck picnic and then headed for a little hike. Despite the nice weather the kids found patches of snow to play in :)

Alicia's little gal, Abby, so is so cute!

Graham sliding down on the snow

Michelle and baby Barrett

Go Brinley Boo!

Yay Case!

I ran up top to help Casen go down the hill and asked Michelle to grab the camera... she thought I meant for me and clearly I didn't want to disappoint, so I took my turn sliding down the snow on a piece of wood :)

Alicia, Michelle, Becca, Ashlee, and Casie... and sweet baby Madilyn :)

Love this girl, her poses crack me up!

Michelle and her boys. The view was so pretty!

Brinley fell back to make "snow angel"

Michelle's boys were having fun throwing snowballs with her, I love that I caught this one in the air!

Derek, Casie and Madilyn. Love this cute little family :)

Michelle and Ashley had fun wrestling out in the snow. They were cracking me up... it's fun to see these sisters together, makes me wish I had my sisters near!

San Fransisco - a weekend away!

Ryan's school had an event for spouses/partners to come and see the new school building and enjoy dinner and a DJ. Our friends Nate and Jessica Nye were amazing and kept the kids Friday night for us! Now we definitely owe them :) Rochelle dropped me off at the airport since made life so much easier on me and then watched my kids til 4:30 when Jess came, so awesome. Karrissa had Brinley in the morning and then took her too and from school, so perfect! I sure am grateful to my great friends for letting me get away for a night!

I landed on Oakland at 1:00 and my sister-in-law picked me up at the airport, so nice! She was so sweet and let me plan our afternoon. This is the view from the Oakland temple, you can actually see the Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge!

I really wanted to go to the Oakland temple since I had never been before and since it is hard to make it to the temple with Ryan's busy schedule and 3 little kids! It was great to be there and I was grateful for the Spirit I felt... it helped me relax a little and now worry so much about my kids :)

We went to Fenton's Creamery, a famous icecream parlor that has been open since the late 1800's. It was pretty yummy!

After a little shopping with Anna she helped me get on the "Bart" and take a 40 minute ride into San Fransisco. I then had to walk about a mile to Ryan's school... it was only 7:00 but already dark and just slightly scarey walking by dozens of homeless people. So sad.

His school is right on the Bay and has an amazing view of the Bay Bridge. The dinner event was lots of fun and had great food. It was fun to talk to some of the other spouses/partners and to put some more faces with all the names Ryan mentions.

We stayed the night at the Hotel that Ryan's school puts him up in, it is so nice and this is the beautiful view we woke up to.

I headed to school with Ryan in the morning and had a quick delicious breakfast before we headed off to class. One of his classmate's partners stayed and chatted with me for a while and then walked me over to the farmers market...

The Farmers market was amazing! It made me want to live there so I could go all the time... but probably wouldn't have been as relaxing trying to keep 3 kids by my side.

They had so many things besides fresh fruit and veggies... beautiful flowers, jams, herbs, all sorts of bakes goods, etc.

After about an hour Alex and Anna met me there, I was so glad they decided to come into the city and spend the day with me!

Inside the market, right after eating fresh raspberry filled donuts :)

We stayed long enough that we were hungry for lunch... ok I insisted we stay that long cause the food looked AMAZING... AND IT WAS! I just LOVE tamales if they are good, restaurant ones are never any good. But these ones were just what I wanted, SO good, craving them ever since!

Excuse the cheesy pose, haha. We walked a couple miles to this building where Credit Suisse is located. Ryan will be doing his intern here this summer and wanted me to see where he would be working. I walked all the way there in heels (what was I thinking!?) and told Ryan he better be grateful!

Then we headed over to China town, we had fun looking around for a while and then were off to Union Square for more shopping. By the end of the day Anna and my feet were dying from walking so much! She bought us both flip flops from Old Navy to give out feet a rest :) Thanks Anna!

Then we headed to the school and Ryan gave Anna and Alex a tour of the school.

Love this view! This is the room Ryan eats all his meals at (they are all catered) while he is at school. After that we grabbed a yummy dinner with Anna and Alex and then headed to the airport!

The kids had a great time with the Nyes and loved getting to go to Duck Creek with Nate, Jansen, and Natalie!

We returned home to find this angel, and two other angel girls... but he deserved a picture for wearing a beanie to bed! I was so grateful to come home to find my sweeties safe and sound!
