Lots of left over pictures from February! But I have to have somewhere to put them so here they are :)
Marlee rarely sits and watches TV, but every once in a while she will pay attention to baby Einstein and she looks so cute when she does.
During a "dance party" Brinley and Casen ran around our couch at full speed in opposite directions and Casen's forhead slammed Brinley's cheek bone. She had this pretty bruise for about 3 weeks!
Marlee was loving the nice weather and the swing!
Brinley loves to wash dishes. I would rather just throw everything in the dishwasher. But I know it is good to let her do the work. She loves showing me how clean they are, I'm glad she has satisfaction in a job well done!
Haven't made Chicken Parm forever.... my friend Rochelle and I have been trading dinners once a week since January and I haven't documented it, so I thought this was my chance to do so with a pic :) It has been really nice switching with just one family!
Brinley's school does fundraisers all the time. Middle of February they had one at Yogurtland. Marlee was sleeping so I didn't go, but Karrissa and Dayna were so nice to let Brinley join them!
Marlee kept stealing Casen's old (and yes cleaned) toothbrush, I think she decided she wanted an electric one too. The baby toothbrush wasn't cutting it We finally bought her her own for Valentine's day... yet somehow she still manages to get a hold of the other kids toothbrushes!
Brinley has always been hard to get to sleep. Rather than have babysitters try and put her to sleep only to return home and find an upset Brinley, frustrated babysitter, and disappointed Mom, I have told baby sitters to just let her stay up with them. We have found Brinley awake and babysitters asleep upon our return before :) This time, by some miracle, Brinley actually fell asleep on the couch! Yay!
We went to a new park that has these giant swings. The are one hot commodity among the kids! So I decided to squeeze Casen and Jude in there together and it worked out quite nice!
One of the Friday's that I volunteered in Brinley's class they had a school assembly. One of the Harlem Globe Trotters performed and he was great. The kids loved him and Brinley had so much fun.
Ryan and I totally laughed out loud at this picture :) Poor Casen not only looks unkept, but about 50 lbs over weight while shoving his mouth with a donut! Haha :) But he wouldn't of been happier. Ryan took him to get the oil changed and they went to donuts while they were waiting. Casen LOVES any one on one time he can get with Ryan... and a donut doesn't hurt either :)
I LOVE this girl... the high chair on the other hand has been a love-hate it's whole life! Looks "nice" in the kitchen, but horrible to strap her in and horrible to clean. We spend most of dinner trying to get her to sit back down and I can't leave the room for a sec if she's in the highchair eating. Good news is I finally realized it just isn't worth it and broke down and bought a new high chair... pics to come soon!
Had a little breakfast with a few friends the day after Valentines, Casen helped me with the donut holes. What I didn't realize is the bag of cinnamon and sugar was never closed and we can sticky sugar ALL over the floor!
So glad I caught her little tongue sticking out on camera! This is a classic Marlee look :)
After getting an email from my Dad with pictures of a fun family weekend and picking fresh oranges from their trees, I replied and said how much I missed "home" and was craving the amazing oranges. Just a few days later this box arrived from my amazing Mom. It was so sweet of her! It not only had fresh oranges and grapefruit, but a box of individually wrapped home made chocolate chip cookies. Such a fun surprise!! And no, the contents did not last long :)
All my kids have their names above their beds... I finally got Marlee's up the week before her first birthday :)
Marlee's new ride, and she loves it!
Scovia, Jess, and I ran to the Discount Shoe Factory one Saturday morning. It was amazing! I got 7 pairs of shoes for under $50 including tax! Here is Scovia with our loot! After we met up with Dayna and Casie for lunch at Market Street Grill for some Greek food. It was a nice girls outing!
Ryan was in San Fransisco for our 7 year anniversary, so the kids and I celebrated with a little Yogurtland
Brinley cracks me up with always wanting to dress herself. This time she choose items from my closet. Unfortunately for her, she didn't get to wear the ensemble to school
Casen loves to line things up, I was glad to come in and see him lining up our magnetic letters, he did a pretty good job pairing them together.
So my friend started a freezer group meal. 12 families, one night of chaos, and 12 different meals to take home. It actually was pretty fun despite a little drama, and we have enjoyed using our freezer meals. Here the kids were helping me peel all the roasted red peppers for the Red Pepper Pasta I made to share.
My little monkey!
We had a little date night playing dodge ball on giant indoor trampolines with some friends. It was a ton of fun and I was actually sore the next day! Unfortunately I forgot my camera and this is the best the phone could do!
This is Stephanie, she is a doll. We met through our mutual friend Kara Noyes. Kara has now moved to Utah but Stephanie and I have stayed in touch and I'm so glad! She is the one that threw the awesome Valentines Party!
Inside the entertainment center, ofcourse
Bounce house still bringing smiles more than a year later!
Marlee finally "discovered" the bounce house! She has been a little hesitant in the past, but it is so fun to see her really play in it now!
Crazy, happy girl!
Brinley had to decorate this for school, she colored it all by herself and I thought she did a really good job!
I love seeing Casen play football! He does a really good job catching and throwing. Soccer didn't seem to be his thing (maybe it will be later), but hopefully his football "skills" can boost his confidence!
Love all these fun pictures! Brinley is hilarious! Love the outfit she put together! And I want to go shoe shopping with you!! What a great deal!
ReplyDeleteYour kids are adorable! And you look so good!
Love and miss ya!
