Brinley's Dance Recital!

Brinley has had her ups and downs with dance, but she really enjoyed this season with Mrs. Michelle as her teacher. She helped Brinley love dance and was always complimenting her on her flexibility. Brinley was really excited so "be on stage".  Michelle teaches out of her home so the performances are just at the LDS church, but I love how much smaller and personal it is and you can actually see the girls really well.

Getting ready for her big night!

Their song was Rockin' Robin and the dance was so cute!

I love this picture. She looks so happy and like she is having so much fun... I love that pretty face.

She always did this pose at home, looks a lot different with a group of little girls surrounding her.

Casen and Marlee both cheered a lot for their big sister! They were pretty proud. And Marlee especially loved dancing in the aisles to all the music :)

Brinley and one of her "BFF's", Daphne. So glad they were able to do this class together. We brought her and Bailey to dance most days and then one of their Moms would bring Brinley home. They all had fun riding together each week.

We were all so proud of Brinley and happy to support her. So glad Daddy got to be there!

After the performance we all went to Cafe Rio, the Browns, Flores' (and their family) and us. These cute girls were happy to have their own table.

Casen's las T-ball game!

This year Casen did t-ball instead of soccer and it was such a good choice! Only one 45 minute practice a week instead of 2, 1 hour practices. No score was kept at the games, each kid gets to bat and Casen got three "home runs" every game! He never lost :) So he was happy as can be. And really, he did do great. He was the first baseman and loved throwing the ball back home. He also loved batting, running bases, and "sliding".

Despite what this picture may look like, the ball did not hit the man :)

I loved watching him swing as hard as he could! Sometimes he would nail it! And other times he would nail the tee :)

Waiting to bat, he wanted to be last in line so he could run all the bases at once :)

Marlee the monkey! One of the Moms brought extra snack packs and let Marlee have one early :)

Casen's trophy! Literally what he had been waiting for all season! And the stinkin thing broke on the way home! But he sure is cute and proud in this picture. Just so glad this was something that helped build him up.

Casen and Coach Cody. Casen really loved his coach. I think cause he made him feel special and like he was one of the best players. He cried and said he wishes he could be his coach when we move to Houston :)

Roos N' More!

I heard about this non-profit exotic zoo an hour out of Vegas a couple years ago and once I looked into it I knew I wanted to go before we moved. I am so glad we finally made it and better yet with some great friends! We scheduled a private tour at Roos N' More on Memorial Day and we all had a great time... I think kids and adults alike :)

Marlee, Daphne, DJ, Jansen, Brycan, Brinley, Lexi and Natalie checking out the Kappi Barras.

I don't even remember what this animal was called, some sort of Lemer I believe. But the kids loved getting to pet it and have it climb across their heads :)

This Lizard was bigger than Marlee and pretty dang cool... once again, wish I remember what it was exactly!

Armadillo! This little guy was pretty cool. He kept opening and closing.

This monkey was so cute and such an entertainer!

Casen's face cracks me up :) I think feeding the animals was his favorite part.

Had to grab a shot of Jackie and I... we were hoping to get the cool owl in the background but didn't!

As we were getting ready to go into the Kangaroos habitat Brinley came over to me and told me her tummy hurt. She was totally pale and so I leaned her over my arm thinking she was going to throw up when all the sudden her body went limp. She had fainted from heat and dehydration we think! She recovered quickly and enjoyed special treatment! They laid her in the owners home and she got to play with the pet monkeys and then they picked her up an Icee. Lucky girl!

This baby kangaroo was so cute! I felt bad it was hiding when Brinley held it because she missed the whole part of the tour.

Marlee and her BFF, Darlene. These two are seriously so cute together. Marlee just loves Darlene and I am so grateful to Darlene for always making Marlee feel so loved and special.

Poor Casen had an allergic reaction to one of the animals in the petting zoo. His eye itched so much, I felt so bad for him! Thankfully we were able to give him some benidryl and he recovered quickly :)

This wild cat was so cool! I think lots of kids were loosing interest by the time it came in, but I thought it was awesome.

The lady said the tour was over and Casen was so sad that we hadn't got to see any snakes. So she brought some in just for him! It was so nice of her and it totally made his day! Ok, maybe snakes was his favorite :)

Annie had already left with her kids and Dawn was out with Benson but I am glad we grabbed a group shot with most of us. Sure do miss all these fun friends!
