The rest of April!

As usual I have a million pictures that don't make their own post, but I want to remember! So here is the rest of April!

We got rid of our ever so ghetto patio furniture- yay! I told Ryan I wanted a picnic table in stead of a patio set and the very next day we found this beauty at Costco! We bought two of them, so if you put them together you can make a regular picnic table, but we can have them like this to give the kids more room to ride their bikes as well. They also turn into a bench.... I love them so far and we have been enjoying dinner outside several nights a week!

Our good friends Sean and Randi, and their daughters Hailey and Brooklyn, came to visit us from CA. Sean was VERY excited to go to Hash House A-Go-Go!! it was SO fun to have them come visit!

--Took these pics on my phone... not the best...

Their daughter Brooklyn loved little Marlee and was so cute holding her!

Casen, Brinley, Hailey and Brooklyn enjoying pizza at the kids picnic table. These 4 kiddos had a lot of fun playing together all weekend!

I am a spring/summer person! I love warm weather, fresh fruit, sunscreen, picnics, etc. This time of year always makes me want fresh salad, and this Spicy Honey Chicken Salad with mangos and avacados was calling my name!

Casen took the pad off of the futon in his room and decided this was his new bed. He literally slept on the floor for two weeks!

Bring "hung up" Marlee's clothes in my closet, using mostly ties from my shirts to tie them up :)

Marlee always has her eyes big and bright, like she is excited for something. I just LOVE this girl and am SO very grateful she was sent to our home.

Casen put on Marlee's shirt all by himself and thought he was pretty funny :)

Who wore it better??

Brinley's cousin Calli sent her this notebook and a little letter. It made Brinley feel SO special! She carried the notebook around all week long and can't wait to show Calli everything she has been coloring!

Ryan has an Aunt Bubbles, my kids all love her! She got her nick name from always blowing bubbles when she was a baby. Marlee has started blowing bubbles and I think it's so cute. She isn't really sleeping I just caught her with her eyes closed!

Brinley LOVES coloring and drawing. She will probably grow up to be a great artist like her Aunt Jess. I love to see the pictures she comes up with!

Marlee wearing one of Brinley's outfits. I mostly like to get new stuff for Marlee, but sometimes it is really fun to have her wear Brinley's clothes, and Brinley loves hearing how cute she looked in the same outfits.

We had a lot of recycle to put out and the kids had a lot of fun carrying it all out for me. They did it all on their own minus the big boxes behind Brinley.

And THIS is why I said no bandaids on your head!

Casen has been loving riding this trike. He rides it back and forth on our cement and especially loves when we go on a walk around the neighborhood and let him ride it.

Brinley setting out all her artwork :)

I have been loving consulting for Shelf Reliance. They are a great company with great products! It is so fun everytime we receive shipments... the kids have a great time unloading everything and especially love when I let them taste stuff.

Brinley loves to dress herself and do her own hair, and you just never know what you're going to get. This was a pretty good day...

THIS? Not so good... but she still is my cute Brinley Boo and I just hate to crush her spirits.

My kids have been loving fresh veggies lately and I have been loving it! Easier and healthier then my classic olive oil and garlic salt veggies!

Casen's line up-- cars, trucks and motorcycles... cucumbers, tomatoes, and green peppers.

Brinley got these matching shirts for her and her friend Kylie. They had so much fun dressing up as twins and taking pictures! Cute girlies!

Once again, loving all the veggies lately. Makes me so happy I can't help but take pictures :) There was lots of other food on the table, but this was all Casen choose to eat!

My roommate from freshman year at BYU and dear sweet friend, Breckan, and her family came to Vegas. She invited us and our kids to come swim at their condo and enjoy a yummy dinner. It was so fun to see her. She is such a sweetheart and I am so glad we have been able to stay in touch. She had her first baby in December during her first year at BYU Law School. She is amazing and survived the first year, baby and all! It was so fun to see her as a mom and meet her little girl Ames. Marlee and Ames were pretty close in size despite Ames being 4 months and Marlee only 2 months!

Marlee and I with Brecky and Ames

I was asked to do a booth at a recent "Stake Family Fair". They has lots of booths with great ideas for families. My booth was fun FHE treat ideas. Despite it being a lot of work and a little overwhelming, I am glad I had the opportunity to serve. It was also good for me to get all these ideas that I now want to make with my own kids. I really loved the marshmallow temples reverence mice, and Choose the Right stoplights!

The kids and I got to look around the Family Fair real quick, I think the kids had fun, but the cotton candy was definitely a favorite!

Our good friends the Noyes will be moving soon and we have been lucky to spend some time with them recently. I thought this was such a cute pictures with their little twins fast asleep :)

Casie had her baby shower on the 30th, it was so cute and fancy! Marlee and I had a great time. Casie looked just adorable, only a few more weeks now! I am so excited for her and Derek... they have been so great to our children and I know they will make the best parents!

EASTER 2011!

Easter was a fun one this year! Nothing big, just lots of little things. Our first Easter activity was an Easter Egg Hunt with our church. Casen was finally big enough to run around on his own, he was SO excited for the "Eager Chunks!!" (Easter Egg Hunt :))

Casen in a mad dash for the eggs! They let the littlest kids go first, I was so glad!

And next Brinley was off!

Showing their spoils to Dad!

Ryan's work sent home Easter goody-bags for our kids and our friends kids too!

Our neighbors the Knudens joined us for pizza one night and Mariah brought Easter Cookies for the kids to decorate. So cute, and yummy!

I have never dyed eggs with the kids before so I decided this was the year! They had fun, and so did I :)

We had crepes for Easter breakfast, and the kids insisted in having the eggs for decoration on the table.

We decided to hide Easter baskets for the kids, even Marlee got a little one :) The pretty much consisted of things the needed anyways, like jammies... but Brinley did get some My Littlest Pet Shops which she had been badly wanting and Casen got a football and basketball, which he loves :)

Just looking cute... and wondering where his Easter basket is.

Brinley gave Marlee her little bucket, no candy, but she was still excited :)

I snuck in a few pics before church. Marlee wouldn't smile for any of them and Brin & Case were crazy as usual!

For Easter dinner we had our friends Dave and Scovia, Justin and Karina, and Eric and Raquel, and their kiddos over! It was good food and good friends! Wish we would of gotten a picture of the group, but here is the food! Thanks for joining us!

Easter was good, wish that there were more activities that centered around the true meaning of Easter. I decided to do an activity with the kids where each egg they opened up had something inside that correlated with a scripture of Christ's life/death/resurrection, with the last egg being empty - symbolizing the empty tomb. They seemed to really listen and I am glad we took the time to remind them why we celebrate Easter. I am thank for my Savior and His sacrifice for all of us. I know He was resurrected and that we will be too one day.
