Casen in a mad dash for the eggs! They let the littlest kids go first, I was so glad!
And next Brinley was off!

Showing their spoils to Dad!

Ryan's work sent home Easter goody-bags for our kids and our friends kids too!
Our neighbors the Knudens joined us for pizza one night and Mariah brought Easter Cookies for the kids to decorate. So cute, and yummy!
I have never dyed eggs with the kids before so I decided this was the year! They had fun, and so did I :)

We had crepes for Easter breakfast, and the kids insisted in having the eggs for decoration on the table.

We decided to hide Easter baskets for the kids, even Marlee got a little one :) The pretty much consisted of things the needed anyways, like jammies... but Brinley did get some My Littlest Pet Shops which she had been badly wanting and Casen got a football and basketball, which he loves :)
Just looking cute... and wondering where his Easter basket is.

Brinley gave Marlee her little bucket, no candy, but she was still excited :)
I snuck in a few pics before church. Marlee wouldn't smile for any of them and Brin & Case were crazy as usual!

For Easter dinner we had our friends Dave and Scovia, Justin and Karina, and Eric and Raquel, and their kiddos over! It was good food and good friends! Wish we would of gotten a picture of the group, but here is the food! Thanks for joining us!Easter was good, wish that there were more activities that centered around the true meaning of Easter. I decided to do an activity with the kids where each egg they opened up had something inside that correlated with a scripture of Christ's life/death/resurrection, with the last egg being empty - symbolizing the empty tomb. They seemed to really listen and I am glad we took the time to remind them why we celebrate Easter. I am thank for my Savior and His sacrifice for all of us. I know He was resurrected and that we will be too one day.
