Nice Weather!

Let me just say I LOVE nice weather! I think I am definitely a warm weather girl. The past couple weeks we have had great weather, so we have taken advantage of it and made a few outings to Floyd Lamb State Park, Aliante Park, and the "dino" park. Ryan also decided to take Brinley's training wheels off! She has been doing awesome! I just need to catch it better on camera!

PS- Yes I was hoping to have a baby by the time I posted again, but no such luck :)

Riding scooters at Floyd Lamb. Normally we go by the ducks, geese, and ponds... but this time we stayed on the south side and the kids loved checking out all the peacocks.

Aliante Park

Casen brought bread to share, but didn't like it when the geese started trying to steal it from his hand!

Do all kids insist on climbing up the slide rather than the stairs??

Brinley swinging "super high". I don't know why, but I like this pic :)

Super Bowl

Our friends the Winwards invited us over for a Super Bowl party... or should I say yummy food and chatting while the kids played... and I guess the boys were in the background watching a little football game.

Brinley and I had a lot of fun putting together these little fruit kabobs to share. She did such a great job helping me.

About one hour and thirty fruit kabobs later :)

Casen and Tre had a lot of fun playing on the tramp together. It is fun to have Casen at an age where he can start playing well with friends.

Brinley and the other girls did a "fashion show" for us. Gotta love the outfit girl! :)

Towards the end of the night I found Casen riding on top of the car and Brinley with no top on. Crazy kids!

Pizza Planet

I don't know how I missed this during the month of January... but the last Monday in January we had a little FHE pizza night with our friends the Blanchards. I tried to do a little lesson on the creation of the earth. The first day Jesus created the earth... had the kids roll out the dough... the second day Jesus made the land and the water... had the kids put the water (sauce) on the dough... the third day Jesus put plants, trees, etc on the earth.... had the kids cover it in grass (cheese)..... etc. :) Not the most exciting FHE ever, but the kids had fun building and eating their own pizzas!

Just about 39 Weeks! Ah!

I am now just 1 week from my due date! Crazy how 9 months can seem like forever and yet fly by all at the same time! Hopefully next time I post it will be with a baby in it :) I am very excited to bring home our baby girl, nothing quite so amazing as a newborn baby! Can't wait! No really... I can't... I am officially ready!

January - everything else!

January was a fun month for us! Can't believe it is already 2011! Now that things have settled down a little, I spent some time getting ready for baby #3. Wish I would of taken before and after pictures of our bedroom! I also worked on the closets, laundry room, and garage. Hopefully our house is a little more ready for a little one to join us.

I do take a lot of random pictures... so here are the rest of the not-so-eventful pictures for the month of January!

Casen loves his scooter, and since it has been so cold I just let the kids cruise around the house. Just look at him multi-tasking!

Brinley has gotten really fast on her scooter, she loves that it doesn't have any "training wheels." :)

Brinley Boo loves to help in the kitchen. We had a lot of fun making homemade pizzas together!

Yum!

Brinley loves to play with my phone and ofcourse use it to take pictures. What was she thinking during this shot?

Our friends Dan and Jillane got us tickets to the BYU vs. UNLV game the beginning of January. It was a great game and fun to go to a college sports game - it had been forever! Best of all BYU killed UNLV :)

January 11th we got to meet Uncle Travis for dinner at Hash House A-Go-Go. The kids loved getting to see him! Here are the boys showing off their dinner! Can you believe that hamburger is the "kids meal"? It is practically the same size as Casen's head!

Brinley and Ryan. Brinley got the kids waffles and it was equally huge. She came straight from gymnastics to dinner, gotta love the outfit she choose :)

I love it when these 2 actually play and get along! Good thing I snagged this when I did, it only lasted about 30 second before Bubby got pushed off :)

Disgusting right?? This is our humidifier! No I don't put anything but water from our sink in there, and this is the build up I get... YUCK! I seriously wonder how we survive drinking this stuff!

Dayna loving every bite of her yogurt! Her, Scovia, and I grabbed some greek food for lunch (yum!) and then headed to Yogurtland. It was delicious and we are so glad they opened on so close to our house!

We did have some great weather this month... this day we decided to have our lunch outside. It was fun just hanging out on the grass with these cute kids! Casen ended up having to go potty and fortunately we had some friends that lived across the street that let us use their bathroom!

Casen finally learned to pedal all by himself! Go Case!

Brinley wanted to help me with dishes and then ended up taking over! She did a great job and it made me realize I need to put this little girl to work! Good job Brin!

Quick trip to St. George!

So this is back even further than Ryan's birthday, but I thought I would throw it in there! :) Friday the 14th of January we headed up to St. George and met Quenalee and Greg there. They had an HOA meeting Saturday morning and then we headed back that night. It was a quick trip, but still fun to see Grandma and Uncle Greg.

PLEASE excuse the horrible quality of the pictures! They were all taken on my phone!

We got there just in time for dinner and Quenalee choose a Japanese place that cooks the food in front of you - good choice Q! The kids absolutely LOVED it! Wish I could of captured how excited they were!

The fire was definitely their favorite part!

Afterwards we headed to Coldstone, icecream is a must when visiting with Grandma!

I took the kids to the park Saturday morning. This park is in Coral Canyon and we used to take the kids here a lot while staying in "the St. George house" during our move from Mississippi. It was fun to go back. As with anything even remontely scary, Casen was not as big of fan of the tire swing as Brinley was.

Casen on his own motorcycle, one day we will have to get this boy his own real motorcycle!

Brinley's Friends!

We have been very lucky for Brinley to have so many great friends here! All the little girls she plays with are so fun and she loves getting to spend time with them. It is crazy to think of her being old enough to have friends over to play, what happened to my baby!? Poor little Casen wants to have friends over too, and he thinks are Brinley's friends are his friends. He isn't very happy when he has to nap the whole time they are here!

Brinley and Kinley playing Leapster in the blanket fort they made.

Nice team work building "the tallest ever" tower!

Brinley, Ava, Kylie, and McKinley. Such cute girls! We will sure miss Ava when she moves this summer!!

Little miss Brinley and Kylie eating their icecream. It has pretty much become a tradition for them to eat icecream while Casen takes his nap... but honestly could you say know to those faces? :)

The girls each painted a wood letter that their name starts with... did that make sense? Anyways, they all turned out really cute! I was super impressed with their painting skills!

Bounce House!

Besides the bounce house being big and heavy to get out... it is great!

I pulled it out for co-op and the kids loved it. Perfect for the last hour!

Nothing like Brinley's happy faces!

Ryan has had a lot of fun playing with the kids in the bounce house. Recently he started throwing the kids against the side, and they LOVE it! It's also a good work out for him!

Casen's turn! :)

One of the kids favorite things to do is to turn off the bounce house and let it deflate and then stand in it while it blows up. Here is Casen waiting for it to go up!

Brinley has also had a lot of fun in it with her friends. Now when kids come over they think the bounce house will always be out :)
