Love these beautiful kids of mine! One of the few Sundays a year that I actually get to pick their outfits! :)
Off for a morning run in the cold crisp air! It didn't last very long :)
Decorating Christmas cookies at Fockes house! Savannah, Grace, Marlee and Brinley.
Making frosting for Gingerbread Houses!

Marlee sure enjoyed playing with the nativities we have. Sure is sweet.
Christmas Eve the kids opened their jammies! They were actually pretty excited :)
Gotta love these poses :) They kept singing and dancing and saying "Christmas jammies!!"
Christmas Eve we read the Nativity Story from the Bible and then the kids get to re-tell the story and act it out with one of the Nativity scene.
It's so fun staying up late with Ryan and getting Christmas ready for the kids!
Marlee had been asking for "pin-cess bike" for months and was very excited to wake up and see that Santa really did bring her one!
Brinley had been begging for these... they were a pretty big let down, don't work well at all! Sad :(
After opening all the presents the kids discovered that Santa had built them a trampoline! They were all very excited and wanted to go jump right away!
The aftermath! I kinda love the giant mess that is left on Christmas morning :)
We have a friend who takes care of our lawn for us. His name is Rafeal and his wife Neti works with him. They have two boys and two little girls. They are such a sweet, hard-working family. With out as much work during the Winter time they struggle for money. We decided to surprise them with some gifts on Christmas morning, and it was the best part of our day
All the kids were asleep on the family room floor when we got there. They were very excited and grateful for the gifts. It was such a blessing to be with them that morning, and so great for our kids to experience the spirit of Christmas. Rafeal stood and watched us drive away with a look on his face I will never forgot.
Casen was so excited for his Lego Fire Station and got right to work! He did a great job all on his own!
Brinley picked up riding her bike so quickly!
We made cinnamon rolls, one of my favorite childhood memories with me Dad.
Christmas dinner just the 5 of us. Right where I want to be.
Casen worked so hard on this!! It took him hours and he was so proud when he finished! Sadly just seconds after this picture Brinley bumped him and the whole thing got broken!
Justin, Gus, Gunnar and Casen... these boys have too much fun together. They made this line of ramps out of the big ramp Casen got for Christmas.
Go Casen!!
We went to the church and watched the Christmas Program. Marlee especially loved the real baby Jesus.
We went on a walk Christmas night and has fun playing at the park. We love the Christmas lights at the front of our neighborhood.
Ryan bought me this canvas art last Christmas and we finally got it framed and hung. I love it, and the reminder that we need to turn to our Savoir in the midst of our daily storms.
This little stinker loves riding her bike inside even though we are trying to make it an outdoor bike.
