MLK Jr. Day - Beautiful!

We had some pretty cold windy weeks the beginning of January, but the middle and end have turn out to be beautiful! Jan. 17, MLK Jr. Day was just beautiful outside! We headed to Floyd Lamb State park with some friends and enjoyed just walking/biking in the great weather. Afterwards we headed to a park for pizza. The kids had a blast and it was fun just being outside and chatting with friends.

Brinley and McKinley

Casen has really been loving football lately... Ryan couldn't be more proud :)

Case and the ladies :) Kylie, McKinley, and Ava

All the kiddos had fun running/riding up and down this little hill...

Brinley thought it was pretty funny when she would zoom down as fast as she could!

The kids FINALLY get to ride the motorcycle!

I have had this little "pocket bike" since before we got married. I gave some of his nieces and nephews some rides on it when we first got married. After moving to Mississippi it got put away and never used again! So sad to think we have had it Brinley's whole life and had never even taken her on it! Well since Casen has quite the obsession with "motor-byciclolos" Ryan got this little bike running again! The kids were SO excited! Thanks Dad! :)

Yay for SNOW!

January 3rd we woke up to snow! What a fun way to start off the new year! Brinley was so excited to play in it and so I couldn't help but join her! On the other hand, Case was just happy watching!

Brinley wanted to save her snowman... here it is sitting in the jar we choose just before heading into the freezer!

The rest of December!

There was a lot of big posts for the month of December, and even though some of these could be their own post... I am doing one big post for "the rest" of December. Slowly but surely catching up! :)

My little helpers at the grocery store.

This is Brinley's potato head family - Dad on left, Mom on right, and "Baby" up front :)

Brinley "modeling"

I remember crawling under our Christmas tree growing up and watering it. It was fun to have Brinley to be our official water girl.

I have wanted a "Christmas" wreath for a while, but I am pretty cheap... so I bought a few things and made this one myself for about $12. It may look that way, but I was still happy with it!

LOVE it when these to play together :)

My Dad sent this sled (or skateboard as Casen would call it) home with Casen from the cabin, and he loves it! He had a lot of fun sledding down the stairs!

Poor little Brinley was so sick (thanks to the flu shot!) and was falling asleep all over the house. This particular day her sleeping place of choice was the stairs.

My sweet girl

Casen eating his candy coated - rice krispie treat - gingerbread man. Our sweet neighbors, Ed and Pat, brought our kids these yummy treats.

The Monday after Christmas I got a phone call from my Dad, and by the next night we had him, Brett, Madeline, and Brooklyn all visiting! The snow on Mnt. Charleston was fabulous so they came up for a ski trip.

While my family went snowboarding, Ryan and I took the kiddos to play in the snow. There was plenty to play in, just wish there would of been less falling.

Casen is not a big fan of the cold, so after about 20 minutes he and I hung out in the car.

Brinley stayed out with Daddy and they had lots of fun sledding from just the two of them. These pictures were taken from super far away, so excuse the fuzziness!

33 weeks along! I am now 36.5, and need another pic! I am so grateful for how well this pregnancy has gone and am excited to have another little girl in our home.

Brooklyn only lasted for one day of snowboarding, so she and Brinley had fun hanging out.

Christmas - Finally!!!

Christmas - Finally! Finally because the kids couldn't wait, and finally because I am just now posting it! We LOVED getting to have early Christmas' with the Nelsons and the Judys, and we loved getting to have our own little Christmas as a family. Ryan ended up having to work Christmas day and Brinley had the flu, so Christmas day wasn't exactly what you dream of.... but we celebrated "our Christmas" Sunday and despite Brinley Boo still being sick, it was wonderful!

I love setting up everything Christmas Eve and thinking of how excited the kids will be to come down and see that Santa came!

Casen LOVES skateboards... here is him making his "Brrr Brrr" noise he makes as he pretends to skateboard around the house :)

Casen's favorite thing to do with is cars is to line them all up, or "make them" as he calls it. In the bottom left you can see the line of cars he was working on. We were really hoping this Hot Wheels ramp would encourage him to have a little more fun with the, it has worked pretty well, but he still likes to "make them."

We put the bounce house in the other room, the kids were pretty excited when they came out and saw what "Santa" had set out for them!

Taking his skateboard down the slide :)

Riding his scooter! This poor boy has been wanting a scooter forever! Everywhere we go he tries to ride other peoples, so we were pretty excited to get him one of his own. I was a little nervous at first when we crashed several times, but he has really gotten the hang of it now and I love watching him zoom around the house!

Brinley made it through the presents, but the poor girl was just so sick.
