Riding the Razor in Mesquite!

We have been wanting to take the kids riding in a Razor or Rhino for awhile now, so a couple months back we decided we would rent one from a friend and go riding in Mesquite the first weekend in March. Casen ended up having a pretty high fever but insisted he wanted to go anyway. The weather was beautiful and so we just decided to do it!

The kids had fun playing around in the Power Sports shop :) Oh how Casen would love to have one of these!

I thought this little car was too cute!

As soon as we got to the top of the plateau the kids were ready for lunch! No homemade picnic lunch this time, just grabbed some chicken at popeyes and we were good to go :)

Brinley wanted to ride up front so Marlee and I ended up in the back most of the trip.
One of the views of the town. I wish I could have captured the scenery and views, it was so beautiful!

Poor Bubby fell asleep for about 20 minutes, but he sure was a happy boy when he woke up!

We rode down in a wash for quite a while, so fun down there because you can go much faster! Casen said we were going "zooming" fast! We stopped to play in the sand for a bit.

Casen was so in love with this! He loves anything with an engine that goes fast!

Playing in  the sand may have been Marlee's favorite part! She kept trying to put the sand on me :)

Our view right before going back down the plateau... the kids were a little nervous going up the first time but definitely got the hang of it... Marlee kept throwing her hands up like she was on a roller coaster :)

Afterwards we filled up with gas and "Cleaned" the Razor :) I think it was actually good for the kids to all work together and feel like they were doing work after having a fun day!

Final "Fotos" of Family Fun in February!

I know this is one giant post! But there was just do much from February I just had to squeeze it all in!

Took a quick trip to the Farmer's market at Floyd Lamb... definitely the smallest one ever invented. But we had fun and the kids enjoyed the gelato :) I love the above picture... Casen posed first and then Marlee had to get in on the action!

The kids snuggling with us on the couch :)

One Friday night we went indoor rock climbing with Callie and Aaron Merrill. They are a fun couple and we had a great time with them.  Plus I really do love rock climbing!  I definitely want to go back :)

Casen playing basket ball in the street. I love seeing him play :)

After 4.5 years of being here we finally hiked Lone Mountain. We went with our friend the Deardens and Marlee LOVES baby Kash :)

5 crazies!

After a while of no bike ramps, we are back! Casen can't get enough of this place, Maybe one day we will live walking distance from one...

I made these hearts with Casen and he was supposed to draw things he loved on them. The top left heart is a pic of "Ryan" and "Casen". The middle heart is a picture of a bike and then he asked me to right Jackie (so cute that he likes her!), later he told he to add Craig cause he's a "cool Dad".  The last heart was just for Daphne :)  Glad to know he loves her!

We came back from Idaho to find our house had been Heart Attacked! It was so cute! Thank you to Michelle and her kids for making us feel so loved! :) The Boggess' also left a big bucket of Valentine's treat, so sweet! We will miss these great friends!

Brinley's friends Bailey and Daphne joined her dance class in January, I am so glad she has these fun friends in her class!

Co-op kids! I will be very sad to leave our co-op group when we move! hopefully we can get another one started :)

After more than 2 years (27 months)  Casen's ear tubes still hadn't fallen out... they are supposed to fall out between 9-12 months of being put it in!  So he finally had to have them taken out. Apparently it happens to about 1 in 100 kids!  He brought his rag of a blanket, favorite dog from Darlene, and my teddy bear from when I was a little girl.

He didn't have anything to eat or drink for more than 12 hours and had to be woken up early to go to the surgery center, BUT he was SO good. He didn't whine or complain. He was so funny and cute with all the nurses and doctors. One of the nurses said "You must be the nicest little boy in the whole world!" :)  It was sad to see him be wheeled back in the bed, so sad. Just glad everything went smoothly! He was excited to get some gatorade after!

One day while driving Marlee kept yelling "Mom, uh hat!" over and over, finally I turn around to find this...her blankie hat :)

Casen and DJ were pretty proud of there house and garage they built with Lincoln Logs. Love when they play so well together!

Brinley got this note from a friend at school. At first I laughed and thought how funny to say you are
"very good at being friends with me."  BUT then the more I thought about it I just thought, was a perfect thing to say and what a great compliment. I hope I can be very good at being a friend to my friends :)

Marlee is potty training...  hence the 3 pairs of princess  panties she insists on wearing all at once. She started wanting to go on the potty about 6 months ago and so I decided it was finally time! She really did awesome at first... panties the whole first week with only a couple accidents... and then we left town, she got constipated, left town again, she got sick, now she is being stubborn... so needless to say we still working on it. Having her barely talk has made it a little hard to communicate things like " You need to go potty now since we are going to the store."  But she did do great learning how to go on the potty, now we just need to master it.
We had a Valentines Party with a bunch of the "older" couple from our ward... I don't mean they are actually old, just ones that are older then the friend we normally hang out with, and all of which are couples we look up to and will be sad to leave. We had so much fun... telling first date stories (guessing who's was who's from the guys drawings), trying to guess which fun fact told about all the men, listening to the poems the guys wrote for their wives (Ryan did awesome :)), eating their sweethearts favorite appetizer or dessert, and filling out questionnaires with Newly wed type questions. Lots of laughs for sure!

Bounce house! The kids and I had so much fun playing together in here! It is so hard to capture pictures of fun in the bounce house, but at least the girls are smiling in this one :)

Fresh wheat bread with homemade strawberry jam, standing on the kitchen bench in your undies... what a life!

I pretty much love anytime all 3 kids play together, even if it is watching something on the phone :)

Enjoying the nice weather with fun friends and yummy food!

Aren't these two buddies so cute together! They used the slide to make their own little table :)

Pizza movie night! This is pretty much a ritual every other weekend when Ryan is gone :) But this time was special since it was Marlee's ACTUAL birthday and we were waiting til Daddy got home to celebrate :)  I swear they had fruit and veggies too, I just made them eat them first!

Marlee is officially two, had to capture her cute face on the day she actually turned two :)

The kid and I went to the Farmer's Market at Tivoli village and had so much fun! It was such a beautiful day and the perfect outing with my 3 cuties!

Even Marlee tried to hula-hoop.

They tried so hard, it was so cute :)

There was free face painting so we waited in line. After MUCH deliberation he decided he wanted to be wolverine :)

Marlee wanted to be a princess :)

Brinley wanted a bunny to remember Piper :)

After couple hours and some tears this is what Casen's face looked like... he wanted me to take this "scary" picture and send it to Ryan :)

Marlee knows how to get water out of the fridge dispenser and helps herself anytime she wants... she then takes it to her own little kitchen and leaves a trail the whole way :)

Casen had a field trip to Red Rock Vistors Center and I got to go with him! I was glad to be able to be on his field trip, I just love him :)

I love how Casen is jumping with the Air sign behind him. He looked for any opportunity to climb, jump, etc.

Sweet moves!

Miss Ticia and the cute kids!

Me and my Casen buddy, oh how I love him :)
