So... some of these really deserve their own post.. but there were just too many posts in May, so I just had to finish off with one last giant one! :)
Brinley did my hair for me :) I should probably put this on pinterest huh? Actually would probably fair pretty well if it was 5 and 6 year olds pinning hair-do's :)
I actually thought it looked pretty good from the front, better than when I do it myself!
Marlee girl waiting for the Pediatric Surgeon. She had a small hernia on her upper abdomen, and we weren't sure what to do but our pediatrician recommended us to the surgeon. He ofcourse recommended surgery as soon as we were ready. We talked to our friend Nate Nye who is a doctor and he said she should be fine and thought we shouldn't do there surgery. Not worth the risks when she should be fine without it. We decided to go ahead and wait. Maybe down the road we will get it fixed but for now every time she screams or laughs she's just got a little bump the size of the tip of my pinky finger that pops out at the top of her tummy :)
Oh Casen, this boy is ALL BOY! He asks to ride his bike at least a dozen times a day. But every once in a while he changes it up for his skateboard... I had to get a picture of his filthy leg!!
Brinley had her first "hard" spelling test for school. Usually it is rhyming words like "bat, hat, sat...", but this time it was colors, like yellow, purple, orange, green, etc. We forgot to practice earlier in the week and tried to cram the night before and day of. I was nervous for her, but so proud when she came home with 100%!! Good job Brinley Boo!
Grabbing slurpees with friends to celebrate the 100% on her spelling test!
This picture cracked me up because I think the look on their faces is just the same and I can just picture Marlee when she gets big!
Same thing for this picture!
This was Marlee's first picture every actually making her "cheese" face! I just about died I loved it so much! Seriously cracks me up. I love that she says "cheee" now too :)
THE Banana Lover.
Brinley and her friend Daphne started doing puzzles and couldn't stop :) I was happy it kept them entertained! Just felt bad we were missing a few pieces in two of them... I always hated that!
Brinley the determined! This girl can do anything she set her mind to... unfortunately we haven't quite figured out how to channel that determination :) Although if we can it will definitely pay off in her future!
She wanted to hang this baby swing from the shade in our backyard, to which I said no. about 5 minutes later I look out to find the master at work. Climbing the pole with one hand and the swing in the other, stack object on top of each other to stand on, hanging by one arm to hook the other side up... yep she did it anyway. Couldn't hardly believe it.
Gavin, Tre, and Casen looking cute at their big sister's last game of the season!
Marlee almost got blown away from all the wind! I couldn't believe they didn't just cancel! She sure had fun running around!
10 cute Jammers!
Marlee loves babies! All of my kids seem to get a fascination with babies once they start walking and Marlee is no exception. She had a lot of fun rocking baby Greyson in his carseat. I was trying to be careful and not let her hurt him, after getting distracted I looked over to find her "hugging" him in his carseat! I couldn't help but grab the camera, they both looked so cute smiling! You may notice my arm is in the picture, still lifting her up so that she wasn't squishing the poor little guy too bad!
Crazy girls, this is what yogurtland after their last soccer game does :) Gotta love Brin's double chin! They were all excited to have their good friend McKinley come to their last game!
Blanket Boy! Casen has actually gotten more attached to this blanket the older he gets! This is just a day or 2 before it completely ripped in half, in addition to the sides tear off. He is still so in love with it though, all of it's pieces! We may just keep it until it disintegrates :)
Wanted to grab a few pics of Marlee doing her new smile :) Didn't quite work as planned, this is what I got instead! Still pretty cute in my book.
This is Marlee wanting her blanket...
This is her .5 seconds later after getting said blanket. It's like switch!
Food can make her equally happy as her blanket. Her ideal world would invovle both, but I can't handle washing the blankie daily so we try and have her enjoy these two loves in her life separately :)
This cute dude helped me make donuts for dessert when we had the LDS missionaries in our ward over for dinner. It was great having him help, he was in charge of the cinnamon and sugar department. Having the Elders over was great, they are such faithful, good missionaries and bring a sweet spirit into our home.
Summer means popsicle season!
Casen helping me do laundry. Normally he just hangs his shirts, but he gave folding dish towels a shot :)
Marlee won't pass up a chance for food, especially when sugar is invloved. And she insists feeding herself everything.
Casen graduated preschool! Yay! :)
Me and my boy.
Case and his buddy Graham
Yay for us! Casen, Graham, Camree, Tre, Kylie, Lily
Our good friends the Noyes' came to Vegas for a some business for Clay, and we had a great time getting to see them! Casen welcomed them by leading Emry and Raliegh to our house.
The kiddos enjoyed a little lunch in the backyard.
5 cute kiddos!
Brinley practicing for her dance concert coming up!
Brinley and Casen had fun watching Brinley practice, but Marlee was pretty upset she couldn't join in the dancing :)
Later that night we met up for dinner at BJ's! Even calling ahead it took 1 hour to get our table for 10! Dinner with 6 kids under 6, way past all of their bedtimes was a little crazy, but we still have fun catching up :)
We tried to get a picture of us with all the kiddos, I just loved this one of Marlee :)
But I would say this was the best over-all shot!
Sean was so nice and acted as Brinley and Alana's boat! I think he made at least a dozen trips back and forth!
Casen got to come early with me to help on the day of Brinley's last kindergarten performance. Mrs. Fellows let Casen sit at Brinley's desk with her. She was so sweet to him the whole time and kept him right by her side.
They did a lot of sign language for the songs and Brinley did a great job!
During this song the do their hands like a DJ, and make a kinda of "zzz..zzz" sound, does that make sense? :) Anyways, she always does this little dance move now and I love it :)
On Kylie's last day of school we headed to Child's Play for one last playdate. Grace was so sweet and gave us all her guest passes. The kids had a great time and it was fun chatting. Grace was doing her usual and playing with the little girls, so is always so sweet to them!
