Our poor deprived children would love a pet. They both absolutely love animals... but I am just not ready for that type of long term commitment. So when Brinley found a lady bug in the backyard and asked if she could keep it, I knew this was a win-win situation - she gets to feel good about having a "pet" and I get to be known as the nice parent who said yes :) Sadly our pet lady bug pass just 3 days after joining us, Brinley told us all she was just sleeping for a VERY long time. Hey, it was fun while it lasted!

Casen wasn't quite as excited about the new comer as Brinley was, he liked look at it better when it was inside the jar.
