Trip to Colorado to visit Laniers!

After 5 days in AZ with the Judy family Brinley, Casen and I made the 8 hour drive to CO. I was pretty nervous, but thanks to a lot of peoples prayers we made it there safely and sanely. The kids we SO good and I was very grateful! Brinley decided she wanted to live in the "country" as soon as we got there. It was so fun to just be there with Jenn and Joe and their 3 cute kids. The kids had a great time playing and I am so glad we got to visit!

Laurie and Casen were excited to see eachother when we arrived. They took turns pushing eachother around in this doll stroller.

Every morning Brinley and Andelin had to put on their princess dresses.

Brinley LOVED the horses. We made several trips to visit them.

We made it just on time for Andelin's birthday party! She looked so cute and Jenn did such a great job on her cake!

Laurie and Casen looking at the "dark."

Casen became a MASTER STALL-ER while in Colorado. He usually does pretty good sleeping when we are out of town... but not this time! I think he was just in way too much pain to sleep well, plus he learned how to climb out of the pack in play. He would ask to hug everything he could think of, ask for drinks, say he didn't like his blanket or paci, etc.

Here is Casen offering a peace sign under the door. After fighting him for about 2 hours, I finally just held the door closed. His little hand under the door made me laugh, and cry since I knew he was so in need of sleep... and ofcourse take a picture.

Casen took a trip to the ER for double ear infections while we were out of town... no he is not is THAT much pain, we just got a little bored waiting :)

Jenn painted the kids faces while Casen and I were at the ER. Brinley loved it. Thanks Aunt Jenn, they all look adorable!

The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed just being outside!

Casen had a blast being bounced on the trampoline. I was glad I actually caught him in the air!

There are some pretty neat indian ruins just a few miles from Jenn's house. The kids had a great time looking around.

This was the best group picture we could get the whole trip, not easily done with 5 kids.

Casen LOVES tractors. One day after waking up early from his nap, Joe SO kindly offered to take Case for a ride while he bailed the hay. He was with him for 1.5 hours!

Dallin and Casen pretending to drive a VERY OLD tractor.

Case got pretty into it :)

Jenn has a great garden... I'm a little jealous :) Here is some of her yummy food. Brinley never eats carrots or tomatoes and she ate both. She told me food from Aunt Jenn's garden is the best!

Brinley in the "Sunflower House". This baby one was her favorite.

Silly girls :)

Casen pounding a pancake.

Brinley decorated her toenails and fingernails with play dough.

The girls helping sweep up the mess!

Brinley was the only one brave enough to feed the horses straight from her hand. She had a lot of fun doing it.

Brinley was SO excited to ride horses! She didn't want to get off even after a long ride. Thanks SO much Joe for letting them ride!

Joe, Andelin, and Brinley
Casen had fun on the horse, but only lasted about 2 minutes! He was just ready for a nap after a long night.

Brinley and Casen enjoying the view at the Glen Canyon Dam. It was our half way point driving back to Vegas and a much needed break!

Brinley and Casen sitting under the giant tree in front of the visitor center, we used to eat lunch under it sometimes when I was a kid and it was fun to take my kids there.

Brinley picked up some clips on the way home and did her hair all by herself :)
