All About OCTOBER!

October was a fun month... full of lots of picture taking! So here are all our random pictures for the month of October!

Casen is Potty Trained! Yay! He started showing interest in June, but I waited til October to finally train him. He did awesome and is now is big boy underwear, Cars ofcourse :) This was taken when we made him wear pull-ups for a week and he was getting a sucker every time he went!

Eating frozen butter? Really?

We eat a lot of cereal, most of which the kids don't know the real names of. Here is the line up:

Corn Flakes - Chicken on a Spoon cereal
Honey Nut Cheerioes - Bee Cheerios
Rice Krispies - Pop Cereal
Kix - Little Ball cereal
Cheerios - Normal Cheerioes
Frosted Mini Wheats - White Cereal

One of the chairs at our kitchen table got broken (kid tipped over on it during the babysitting co-op I do) and so we ended up getting a bench. Turns out I love the bench and now can fit 3-4 kids on the bench... here are the kids utilizing our new bench.

I also discovered that twisty straws fit in these cups perfectly and don't even leak! Love it! Notice Casen's straw :)

Well the time has come that Brinley wants to do her own hair! She was playing with her friend Kinley and "doing hair" when she came out and showed me the hair-do she just did! I was VERY impressed!

The excitement has diminished more and more as she insisted on doing her hair now everywhere we go! I am proud of her... but would like a chance to have her hair look like mommy actually did it every once in a while :)

Dinner on Princess plates, doesn't get much better!

Casen loves Cars, his favorite is "Lite-Me Ma-Feen!"

What else could this little boy need? Paci, blanket, and big sister's light-up shoes! He is awfully found of his paci and I'll be honest, so am I! We will both have a hard time when I take it away, and soon!

Cereal and Cartoons at 5:30 AM

I asked Brinley the other day what made her happy, she said "Being chased!" She loves playing with her Daddy!

Casen's line-up!

My Dad loves tomatoes, and I wished I loved tomatoes! But some how I managed to introduce them into Casen's diet and now he loves them too - yay!

Ava, Kylie, and Brinley. These little girls have so much fun together, we are grateful to have fun friends so close!

15 lbs green beans, really didn't look like that much...

Until I started trimming and cutting them...this is after a couple HOURS hard work!

I found this Minestrone Recipe on the Pioneer Women's recipe blog and it is SO yummy and extra healthy with all the veggies! I love all her recipes!

We all love Frozen Yogurt and make occasional trips to U-Swirl. Brinley loves to get 3 different flavors and top them all individually, and then stir like crazy!

Casen will pretty much take anything you will give him, but he likes a good variety.

Our friends Clay and Kara Noyes had twin girls the end of October, Emry and Raliegh. Brinley and Casen were both SO excited to see the tiny baby girls. It made me happy and nervous at the same time! Brinley was luck enough to hold baby Emry. They are both SO ADORABLE!

Dayna, Karrissa Raquel, Camille, Becca, Klisa
We celebrated Camille's birthday with lunch at Olive Garden. It was fun to get out with just the girls!

  1. Wow! Brinley's hair looks awesome! But my favorite pictures is Casen & Brinley on the swing. I'm sure he'll love that one when he grows up :)
Can't wait to see you later THIS WEEK!!!
