This is way over due, but when I realized I had forgot to document it, it was definitely worth back tracking for! Casen has LOVED his Paci and Blanket for nearly 3 years! He not only slept with them but needed them every time he was sad. He had to have both, and never referred to them separately, it was always paci-blanket. True love. I just didn't have the heart to get rid of his paci's, so I procrastinated and only gave it half-hearted tries... but we really did it this time! On May 11th 2011 while driving on the 95 North between Boulder City and Las Vegas, at about 6:30 PM, a miracle happend... Casen threw his paci out the window if our car!!! YAY! Too be honest I wasn't sure if it was the end or not, but I held out and never gave it and we officially have a paci-free little boy!

ReplyDeleteBinkies. Can't live with them...can't live without them :) I cut all the silicone parts off of Brooke's binks and told her they were broke. She can't put them in her mouth, but she still sleeps with one, pressed up against her face as if she was sucking on it. That was a year ago I cut them apart!! Hopefully she will be able to go without one soon ;) Good job Casen!
