The 23rd of December we headed up to Mnt. Charleston with Nyes. The kids only lasted about an hour, but we made the most of that time! So glad to have snow just 30 minutes away and still enjoy the "warmer" weather :) The only thing missing was making a snowman, the snow was just too fluffy! But it made for good sledding!
Last year Casen would just cry in the snow, so it was so fun to see him having fun!
We crashed pretty good our first run, I think I learned a little after that!
Brinley and I got going pretty fast, yes I am screaming :)
Nate got going so fast he flew off his sled, I thought this was a pretty sweet pic :)
Marlee spent half the time sleeping and sitting in the car, I was glad top keep her out of the cold as long as possible.
Casen got brave enough to go on his own and loved it!
Jess brought spray bottles with colored water in them and the kids had fun "painting" the snow
Marlee was a good sport and even sledded down the hill a couple times.
Brinley and I had fun making snow angles. The snow was like powder so it was fun to just fall back!

The kids were ready to stop playing before Jess and I were so we decided to go do a couple runs on our own... and then doubled up on the sled for our last one.
Let's just say we got a little out of control and it was way too much fun!
We were cracking up, I felt like we were little kids :) So glad I can act like a kid with her!

How fun! I've just been WAITING for the snow to come here... but I might have to head up to the mountains like you guys to play in it!
