Anna and Alex came to visit from AZ and so we planned a night out to see the show Recycles Percussion. I thought the kids would have fun too so we got a sitter for Marlee and planned to take the older 2 kids. Last minute Brinley decided she would rather stay home... sure wish I would have made her go!
Casen felt pretty special hanging out in the back seat with these two! I could tell he enjoyed being the only kid, honestly he thinks he is "one of us" adults :)
So interested in what was going on!
It is so hard to see but this picture is actually of the 4 performers hanging from the ceiling and playing their "instruments". It was SO cool!
They gave everyone their own "instrument" on the way in. Things like pots, pans, old tin, etc. Then we all had a drum stick and were assigned to a "color group". It was a very interactive show which made it really fun. Casen was trying to pay attention as to when he should make noise :)
We had such a fun time with this little guy! Seriously so glad he came! He loved every second! About half they took a cookie break and the performers ran around with trays of cookies and handed them out, Casen was the only one that got cookies at our table! I was SO glad! And towards the end the main guy came and stood on top of our table... so I quickly put Casen on top of the table too and the guy lifted him up so everyone could see him. Every was cheering for him and he LOVED every second!!
Afterwards he wanted to meet the performers. They were so nice to him. They kept saying what a cool kid he was :) He felt pretty special!
He got a poster with all the signatures and couldn't stop looking at it. He had the best time, which made it extra fun for us. The concert was awesome anyway though, I was totally impressed!
