A quick stop in Utah and first day in Idaho!

We decided to drive up to Idaho rather then fly so that we could make a stop in Utah on our way up. It was a very long drive, but it was fun to show our kids around Provo and Brigham Young University.

We took the kids to the sidewalk that runs along the Provo river. They had lots of fun running around and riding bikes.

Riding under the overpass... the kids would get going pretty fast!

Casen is such a good big brother and let Marlee take a turn on his bike, obviously she loved it!

Crazy to be back here with my family of five! Felt a little different then being there 10 years ago as a freshmen or the year after that dating Ryan!

BYU Creamery! I remember my Dad taking us there when I was little and I loved going there while in school. It was fun to take our kids, they loved the icecream!

The next day we made it to Idaho. The kids were happy to get out and run around! They love the ittle streams in grandma's yard.

We got there just in time to meet the rest of the Nelson gang out at the land Ryan grew up on. Brinley and Rachel spent most the time on this little bridge.

We made smore's using cooking that already had chocolate. Casen wanted to try every flavor :)

 

                      We went on a walk and Marlee hitched a ride on Grandpa Dale's shoulders.
