Grandma Comes to Town!

Ryan's Mom came to visit the beginning of May, and the kids were as excited as ever! They sure love their Grandma Nelson! We decided that we would entertain her the toddler way, and did some of the kids favorite activities...


Which ofcourse included the park!


Clearly Brinley loves the park :)


Casen took "Gampa" (yes... that is how he says Grandma) by the hand and showed her around.


After some fun in the sun we headed home to enjoy cartoons on the couch... most enjoyable ofcourse with a balloon in hand.


The next day we headed to Floyd Lamb State Park. Casen started the adventure by chasing a peacock.




The kids showed Grandma the horses, one of their favorite animals...not only to pet, but also to play pretend. They both make pretty good horses, Casen has his "neigh" down quite well, which ofcourse he learned from big sister Brinley!



Brinley had to show Grandma how strong she was by picking Casen up, all by herself.


Then we tried to feed the geese, and had to try to keep from getting eaten!


About a dozen times a day the kids could be found on Quenalee's lap.



Then we did another favorite and treated Grandma to Pizza in the back yard.



And we couldn't end the trip with out some good picture posing :)
