Ryan and I had the idea to go and sing "If You're Happy and You Know it" and hand out Happy Face balloons at a rest home near our house. We thought it would be a good experience for the kids and a good opportunity to do a little service. Our friends the Nyes were able to join us with their cute kids. We had a great time singing and making people smile, I was really happy with how well it went. Such sweet people we were able to visit, I remember loving going to rest homes when I was growing up and loved getting to take my own children. There really are hidden treasures in them :)
I wish I could have gotten a good picture in the elevator... 27 balloons, 4 kids, 5 adults, and 2 babies in strollers :)
I loved seeing the kids sing, they were a little shy at first but all did really well despite the circumstances of the people we were able to visit.
Marlee was a good sport! She finally got a hold of a balloon and was loving it. We gave the last balloon away and the sweet lady said she wanted Marlee to keep it, so she was the only one who got to take a balloon home :)
