Lake Tahoe

Some of Ryan's friends from Wharton invited us to Lake Tahoe for a weekend in March. Katie DeMill watched the kids for us... they had a fun weekend and so did we!

After sending the kids a couple pics, they sent some to us too (on our phones). I loved this one of Case dancing :)

I love Brinley in this one! It was fun texting back and forth with them!

The first day we went to lunch with Rob and Janelle Lehmann (also in Ryan's class) who live near Reno. Then we drove around the lake to get to the cabin. This beach surrounded by mountains was so beautiful!

The weather was really nice, Ryan was even comfortable in short sleeves.

We went to eat at this neat little diner, I guess it was featured on the Food Network Channel.

Andy, Ray, Brian, and Ryan. These were some of the people we stayed with, such a nice group of people!

The view was so beautiful!  I loved it up there and would love to go back!

The last night we all went to dinner and "Martis" Country Club. It was SUPER fancy. Lindsay (another classmate) had set us up a reservation there. We had a big room all to ourselves, complete with fireplace and sitting area that we hung out in prior to dinner. Dinner was delicious and it was fun to be so catered too... not the type of thing Ryan and I usually do!  It really was such a neat group of people with amazing backgrounds, glad we were able to join them! And so thankful our kids were watched over while we were gone :)
